Position Overview

We are seeking licensed mental health practitioners in the state of Nebraska to join our group practice as independent contractors. This role is ideal for clinicians who want the independence of private practice while benefiting from the resources, referrals, and community of a group setting.

As an independent contractor, you will set your own hours, maintain autonomy in your clinical work, and enjoy the support of practice infrastructure such as billing, marketing, and administrative services.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, family, or group therapy to clients in accordance with your license and scope of practice.

• Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain appropriate clinical documentation.

• Maintain ethical and professional standards as outlined by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and relevant licensing boards.

• Collaborate with colleagues within the practice when appropriate while maintaining clinical independence.

• Manage your own schedule and caseload with flexibility.

• Participate in professional development and maintain all continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active license in Nebraska as one of the following:

  • PLMHP (Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner)

  • LMHP (Licensed Mental Health Practitioner)

  • LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker)

  • Licensed Psychologist

• Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.

• Strong clinical skills and a passion for providing quality mental health care.

• Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and maintain professional boundaries.

• Professional liability insurance (required).

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred but not required.

Employment Type

This position is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Practitioners are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and insurance.
